Review preview
How do you pick a massage you can trust?
Picking a massage abroad shouldn't be a gamble. The safe, sure way is getting it from a verified expert.
Look at the person, not just the spa
Skill differs by person, even in the same spa. The surest way is choosing the expert yourself
Namu verifies each one
So you never pick wrong — no verification, no listing
By-name means guaranteed
The expert you chose takes care of you, with your focus areas sent ahead
How to choose your therapist
Pick right the first time — a guide to reading expert profiles
Profile
Two things to check before choosing: experience · reviews▾
A nice photo says nothing about hands. Check experience and public reviews together.
⏱ 3 min readRead more ↓
Years of experience show how long those hands have been learning. A rating only matters next to its count — 4.9 across 140 reviews beats a 5.0 from 3.
Experience and public reviews help you choose the expert who fits your needs with confidence.
Namu makes these details available on each expert card.
Specialty
Choose by your condition, not by the menu name▾
Stiff shoulders, tired legs, poor sleep — each needs different hands.
⏱ 3 min readRead more ↓
Stiff neck and shoulders after a long flight → look for a deep tissue / neck-and-shoulder specialist. Heavy legs after walking all day → a foot specialist. Want to unwind and sleep well → aroma / hot stone.
Don't pick by the menu name — pick by the specialty of the person doing it. The same menu feels completely different from a shoulder specialist and a foot specialist.
The specialty tags on each Namu profile show what that person does best.
Final tips
The verified mark — and what to do when your pick is fully booked▾
Two last things before you hit book.
⏱ 2 min readRead more ↓
The ★ Namu verified mark means experience and specialties were checked in person at the spa — no verification, no listing.
If your pick is full, look at the colleagues from the same spa under the profile. Same environment, same standards — and the choice stays yours. Nobody is auto-assigned.
Frequently asked questions
Quick answers before you book
How does booking by name work?▾
Choose an expert → pick service and time → select focus areas → confirm. No app needed; confirmation goes to your email and to the spa via Zalo.
How are experts selected?▾
Owners nominate, and Namu checks experience and specialties in person at the spa. No verification, no listing — the spot is never for sale.
How do I pay?▾
Currently you pay at the spa after your treatment. The price is exactly what the booking page shows.
What if my expert is fully booked?▾
Pick another date, or choose a colleague from the same spa shown under the profile — the choice is always yours.
Can I make requests in my language?▾
The page supports VI · KO · EN · ZH. Your focus areas and notes are delivered to the therapist in Vietnamese.
